JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - The Indonesian government has extended the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) until July 25, 2021.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that if the COVID-19 spread rate shows a downward trend until July 26, the government would reopen the Emergency PPKM in phases, especially for MSMEs by still implementing strict health protocols.
This was conveyed by President Jokowi in an online press conference via the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel on Tuesday (07/20/2021) night.
"We always monitor, understand the dynamics in the ground, and also listen to the voices of the people affected by PPKM," said the President.
